For your consideration.....

A while ago my friend shared a piece of litreature that managed to disgust and amuse me at the same time, do let me know what level of revulsion or humour it invoked in you.

Thus it goes:

The Read Headed Leage

This is the story of a detective solving a case of teh fraud company named as " Th Read Headed League". The writer called Mr. Watson had called upon his derective friend just to meet him. After some time there came a man with his problem to solve a case.

The man was working in a company called, "Red Headed League". This is a company uhere only the red headed person can work for the company. He tells the story how he gets the job in that company & how he was cheated.

He had a secretary which gave him the offer to join the compay. Although he had few other opitions for the job but he chose that comapny because it was all the way convenient ot him. He began his routine. One day he was on his routine he saw nothing over there where he was working. He asked few people over there whether they knew anything about the company or about the boss of the company but he didn't get any clue about anything.

The detective starts the investigation and gets all clue against the secretary whom he already had doubt. And other clues were also found agaisnt him.

This way the detective solving above mentioned case with observing ver keen things. This way he had solved many other cases too.

The gentleman recieved full marks for the assignment....and why shouldn't he i say!

Glass Walls

A land of flat organizations, open door policies, wide open spaces and casual birthday celebrations! The nuo atmosphere of a seldom disturbed office in modern India. Everything is beautiful, not a thing to care about not a worry in the world.

You can walk into the CEO's open cabinet and tell him about the wonderful time you had surfing the net last night. A junior can come up to you and casually speak of the dinner that awaits him made by his recently enjoined wife.

Oh yes these are the days to be working my friend where there life at work is comparable to a homely environment of friends more than colleagues and family more than co - workers.

You feel happy about this, you wonder that perhaps they were wrong about the big bad world outside! We were told lies! Life in the corporate world is brilliant we have no walls! none i tell you None!

PLUNK - What is this....its not a wall...no not at first sight...its Glass.

The CEO has not heard a word you said, he is looking at the cost that you are incurring to the company while you chat with him, a cost that he has to keep down. You dont have time to worry about your junior's food because you need to teach him his job and you cant stand it that he is hungry all the time.

There are no happy birthdays as we realise that a year has gone by and we are still in the same job doing the same things. The friends are worse than enemies who try to know everything about you and then bartering that with other tasty information. Co - workers are nosier than family as they want to know everything about you. And yes no one i mean no one cares!

This glass wall is well built.....its clear....and thats fun!

Music by Bob

Abberations in space with the tacitile magnificence of the human and the omnipotence of the alternate universe. Then again i can't put it any more surrealistic than the man himself; the legend the God the prophet: Bob Dylan.

A single line can make you question your whole existence. Make you feel like the master of none and then the pauper of all feelings and wants in this world. I would like to relate a song that i feel spoke to me the most. As told by Blind Willie....

Bobby explains how we pray to the super human to provide us with what he can promise us. The poet realises that we only ask from God such material things as power and greed. These corrupting material possessions which bring with it pain and suffering.

The line is a cliche but it strikes on a very important point, man knows this...is fully aware of this and yet all we can do is accept it and be fatalistic. By the virtue of being selfish, and with such wonton short sightedness....we are set to be Human.

This is our humanity, our unneccessary possesions, our lust even love. These are the things which make us Human. Why should we fight it.....in an attempt to be higher than humans we are looking to dissaociate ourselves from the rest of the human race. The sheer ego that man possesses to even consider for a moment that he is above these feelings, that a higher power wants us to be like him is a way of associating ourselves with the super human but with it we lose our identity.
I look out of the window of the St. James Hotel - But nobody sang the blues like Blind Willie McTell............
