Music by Bob

Abberations in space with the tacitile magnificence of the human and the omnipotence of the alternate universe. Then again i can't put it any more surrealistic than the man himself; the legend the God the prophet: Bob Dylan.

A single line can make you question your whole existence. Make you feel like the master of none and then the pauper of all feelings and wants in this world. I would like to relate a song that i feel spoke to me the most. As told by Blind Willie....

Bobby explains how we pray to the super human to provide us with what he can promise us. The poet realises that we only ask from God such material things as power and greed. These corrupting material possessions which bring with it pain and suffering.

The line is a cliche but it strikes on a very important point, man knows this...is fully aware of this and yet all we can do is accept it and be fatalistic. By the virtue of being selfish, and with such wonton short sightedness....we are set to be Human.

This is our humanity, our unneccessary possesions, our lust even love. These are the things which make us Human. Why should we fight it.....in an attempt to be higher than humans we are looking to dissaociate ourselves from the rest of the human race. The sheer ego that man possesses to even consider for a moment that he is above these feelings, that a higher power wants us to be like him is a way of associating ourselves with the super human but with it we lose our identity.
I look out of the window of the St. James Hotel - But nobody sang the blues like Blind Willie McTell............
